The platform generates all the real time Performance reporting gauges based on this data. When you delete your stored data, you delete the data from the associated gauges and reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Delete Respondents<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Access the global <strong>Settings<\/strong> menu, in the bottom left of your console, and click on the <strong>Capacity &amp; monthly traffic<\/strong> link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">At the top of the screen, you will see your console&#8217;s capacity gauge showing you how many respondents are currently stored in your console relative to your storage capacity. For example, you can specify that you want to delete all respondents dated before January 2019. Once respondents have been deleted <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">they cannot be recovered<\/span>. We recommend pulling a <a href=\"https:\/\/ioninteractive.com\/ionacademy\/export-respondents-download-a-raw-data-file-to-review-your-lead-data\/\">raw data export file<\/a> and any reports needed to archive performance results before deleting respondent data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What to do if you are &#8220;at&#8221; or &#8220;over&#8221; capacity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">On your Ion dashboard, you can see a gauge that shows your Console&#8217;s Capacity and might notice that you are over your allocated storage capacity. If you do, you have two options:<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Contact your customer success manager\u00a0<\/strong>and move your capacity to the next tier. This will enable you to maintain more data over longer periods of time in Ion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Or, delete old respondent records<\/strong>\u00a0that are no longer in your active window of focus (see above).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ion stores your respondent data until it is deleted by a console owner.
