Add an external hyperlink directly from the Text editor.
Current interface
Select text and use Link in the current inline text editor.
Select the Text element and open the text editor.
Highlight the words to link, then choose Link.
Enter the complete destination URL and choose whether it opens in the same window or a new window.
Apply and save the change, then test it from a live URL.
If you edit HTML source, the equivalent pattern is descriptive link text. Add target="_blank" rel="noopener" only when a new window is intentional.
